Welcome to Wild Voices South Africa, your destination for wildlife conservation and rehabilitation just outside East London, South Africa, along the scenic R72 towards Kidds Beach, nestled on the coastal road to Port Alfred, across from Gulu Private Resort on the Fort Pato turn off.
Wild Voices SA is dedicated to providing hands-on experiences, training, and knowledge in the nurturing and support of wildlife in need of tender loving care closer to the end of this year. Our rehabilitation center warmly welcomes a diverse range of animals, offering them a safe haven to recover and thrive.
While we specialize in wildlife, kindly note that we do not provide services for domestic animals or pets. However, if you find yourself unable to care for a animal may it be a tortoise, jackal, parrot, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll gladly assist you in finding the appropriate resources and guidance.
Our patients are not considered possessions but cherished inhabitants of our shared ecosystem. We invite you to join us as a Wildlife Guardian, dedicated to safeguarding and advocating for the well-being of our precious wildlife. Wildlife Guardians will have first priority to join us for our Wildlife Guardian Rescue Team training once we have our documentation in place. These Wildlife Guardians will be our rescue team in and around East London to help us collect certain wildlife species and bring them back to the center when we are not available to assist.
Join us in our mission to protect and preserve South Africa's natural heritage. Contact Wild Voices SA today to learn how you can make a difference as a Wildlife Guardian.
Our Vision: Wild Voices South Africa aspires to become the premier wildlife rehabilitation center in East London, offering accredited NQF Level training in wildlife rehabilitation, correct animal animal husbandry, animal first aid and of course great care.
Our Mission: Driven by the highest ethical standards, our mission is to rehabilitate and release native wildlife into environments as close to their natural habitat as possible, fostering sustainable population growth for species in need. We aim to foster harmonious relationships between humans and wildlife by illuminating the symbiotic connections that make our ecosystems invaluable.
Goals:
Provide comprehensive first aid and stabilization facilities for compromised wildlife.
Rescue, nurture, rehabilitate, and release wildlife successfully back into their native habitats.
Define success in releases by ensuring animals integrate with their own species and contribute to offspring production.
Maintain wildlife's wild status by preventing trauma or habituation to humans prior to release.
Prioritize sponsor engagement by providing access to the clinic and enclosures for transparency in operations.
Implement post-release monitoring to evaluate success and refine techniques.
Educate local communities, schools, volunteers, and the public on conservation principles and wildlife rehabilitation practices.
Establish a research facility for collaboration with educational and research institutions.
Forge partnerships with registered conservation organizations to maximize impact and effectiveness.
